Don’t drink fruit juices or juice-based products while "dieting.” Get your nutrition from calories you chew rather than swallow.
Make sure you strength train twice this week. Building lean muscle helps burn calories while you rest!!
Eat at least two servings of fish per week to get healthy fats.
Spice up your food with red pepper, which boosts metabolism.
Drizzle sugar-free syrup over cooked carrots for a sweet treat.
Drink green-tea liberally. It helps burn fat.
Try not to let yourself get bored, stressed out or depressed, if possible. Try yoga, personal training, and/ or meditation for stress.
Outwait your food cravings. They generally last no longer than 10 minutes.
Distract yourself with a nonfood related activity, such as training, reading, pursuing a hobby, dancing, and kickboxing, listening to music or soaking in a hot bath!
Make a list of 10 things to do rather than eat, paste it on the refrigerator or keep it handy for times when you feel tempted to eat (when you shouldn’t)
Freeze strawberries and other berries. They take longer to eat and provide a candy-like treat! You can use them to create your own tasty smoothies..
Exercise 5x’s this week
“I believe in women who are strong and passionate. I believe in women who juggle and multitask and make it all work; women who will not take no for an answer. I believe in women and the power they have to achieve whatever they desire.
People have called me many things, Woman of steel, Wonder Woman, Sexy personal trainer, even Special K, but I like to think of myself as a motivator, transformer in addition to a loving daughter and friend.
I believe in me.”
